Motorcyclist dies after collision with pickup on Abram Street

ARLINGTON -- A motorcyclist died Saturday, June 22, at about 6:30 p.m. when he collided with a pickup truck in East Arlington near Overhill Drive, police indicated.

A Star-Telegram article said the motorcyclist – initially not identified by police -- was eastbound on Abram Street when it struck a pickup making a turn. The cyclist collided with the pickup and was thrown from his motorcycle. He was not believed to be wearing a helmet.

Two occupants in the pickup were not injured. Police are continuing the investigation.
