Crash on Highway 171 in Cresson Leaves Elderly Driver Dead By Rocky Walton on October 28, 2019

An elderly man was killed on Saturday, October 26, 2019 around 2:15PM as he was traveling north on Highway 171. DPS said he veered into oncoming traffic then struck a sign and overturned. Police suggest the man may have had a medical incident that led to the tragic crash.

Police continue to investigate the crash.
