Multiple Fatalities from MVA in Lavon, Collin County on Hwy 78
On the evening of November 5, 2019, four high school students lost their lives when the truck they were in crashed on Highway 78 in Lavon. Preliminary reports say the pickup truck plowed into a van after crossing a center median. Three in the van were taken to a hospital and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Lavon Police say there were a few minor accidents that occurred as a result of this major accident.
