Two Seriously Injured in Denton in Wrong-Way Crash
On the morning of December 2, 2019, multiple vehicles crashed in the southbound lanes of I35W in Denton. Police report that a vehicle crashed into a southbound vehicle while traveling the wrong way on I35W. The vehicle traveling southbound overturned and was then struck by an 18-wheeler. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not seriously injured but the other two drivers were both transported to a hospital after sustaining serious injuries.
It is unclear why the vehicle traveling the wrong way was doing so, as investigations continue.
