12yo Child Pedestrian Killed by Vehicle Josey Lane Carrollton
On the afternoon of December 23, 2019, a 12-year-old boy was struck and killed by a van that left the roadway. The child was walking along the sidewalk on Josey Lane in Carrollton with his 7-year-old relative and mother. The 7-year- old was slightly injured. The mother was not struck. The 12-year-old boy was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead. The driver cooperated with police and reportedly swerved onto the sidewalk while trying to avoid a vehicle that had stopped ahead of him.
