SUV Vs. Dump Truck Crash Kills Two in Plano By Rocky Walton on May 22, 2020

On May 20, 2020, a speeding SUV carrying two people was traveling west on the President George Bush Turnpike service road and failed to turn where the road ends at the service road of US-75 in Plano. The SUV went into a ditch, traveled past US-75, and struck a dump truck pulling a trailer. The driver of the dump truck was severely pinned to the truck and died as a result of the crash. A male occupant of the SUV also died at the scene. A female occupant of the SUV was taken to a hospital for injuries after being ejected from the vehicle in the crash. We are praying for all of those involved. Speed was obviously a factor; however, we do not know if the SUV driver was distracted. Our office is available for free consultations regarding this matter.
