Wrong Way Crash After Police Chase Injures Several
On June 1, 2020, a pickup truck led Blue Mound Police on a chase that ended in a wrong way crash on I-30 in Fort Worth. The pickup truck was traveling south on Loop 820 and traveled in the wrong direction. When the truck was headed east in the westbound lanes of I-30, it crashed into another vehicle at Cherry Lane. A Fort Worth Police car was also hit. The officer was treated and released at the scene. Six people were injured in the crash with two serious injuries.
