Speeding Car Kills Father, Injures Son
On the morning of July 24, 2020, a Camaro was speeding down Rosemeade Parkway and hit an SUV at Greenway Park Drive in Carollton. The SUV was entering the roadway. A 67-year-old father and his 17-year-old son were in the SUV. The father died at the scene and the teenager sustained serious injuries. The driver of the Camaro, a 39-year-old, did not sustain any serious injuries and cooperated with police on the scene. It is not yet determined if criminal charges will be filed against the driver of the Camaro. Our thoughts and prayers are with the deceased and his family at this time. It is obvious that the 39 year old was carelessly driving and caused someone to lose their life. We hope the local police department punishes this man to their fullest ability.
