Motorcyclist Killed After Being Hit by Intoxicated Driver
On the night of August 25, 2020, a 28-year-old man struck a motorcyclist while driving intoxicated and fled the scene. The intoxicated driver was turning left onto Cooper Street from Sturgeon Court in South Arlington when he struck the motorcyclist, a 50-year-old man from Arlington. The motorcyclist sustained cirtical injuries at the scene and died at a hospital. The driver that fled was later apprehended and charged with Intoxication Manslaughter. Our thoughts and prayers are with the deceased and his family. This is such a tragic event and we hope the drunk driver is prosecuted as much as possible.
