Multiple Fatalities in Possible Head-On Crash
On August 30, 2020, a possible head-on crash between two vehicles on N. Loop 820 near Denton Highway in Haltom City took the lives of multiple people. Preliminary reports indicate one vehicle was traveling in the wrong direction along the highway and one vehicle caught fire after the crash. One patient was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition. Three people died at the scene. We believe the wrong way driver may have been intoxicated.
