Flying Tire From Crash Kills Man By Rocky Walton on October 14, 2020

On October 13, 2020 a car traveling at high speeds crashed into a vehicle parked in the Oak Cliff area of south Dallas. The driver, a 46-year-old man, fled the scene after a front tire from his vehicle came off from the impact and struck a resident standing on his sidewalk nearby in front of his house. The tire strike killed the 75-year-old man. This is such an unfortunate event and our thoughts and prayers go out to the man who lost his life. The family of the deceased can make a claim against the insurance that was on the vehicle that lost its tire. A UM/UIM could also be made on the deceased auto policy. We hope the defendant is charged by Dallas Police Department for careless driving. Our office is available for a free consultation.
