Dallas Police Officers Injured in Crash with Intoxicated Driver By Rocky Walton on October 19, 2020

On the night of October 17, 2020, a Dallas police cruiser occupied by two officers was struck while responding to a call. As their cruiser was traveling north on Webb Chapel Road and entering the intersection of Northwest Highway, a vehicle traveling south turned in front of them causing the major collision. The officers were extricated and transported to a hospital. The driver of the vehicle that struck the police car was under the influence, did not sustain any serious injuries, and arrested for Intoxication Assault on a Peace Officer. We hope the officer has a speedy recovery. Our office is available for a free consultation regarding this matter. Our firm has represented numerous police officers and first responders for motor vehicle collisions and we generously support the Arlington Police Department and Arlington Police Association.
