Small Plane Crash Kills 2 - Grand Prairie, TX
On the afternoon of December 21, 2020, a small plane crashed and killed two people onboard near Mayfield Road along SH 360 in Grand Prairie. Reports state the plane was struggling as it was attempting to land and hit a telephone pole as well as a truck before resting in a fast food parking lot. The small plane caught fire and was quickly put out by first responders. The driver of the truck sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition. Investigations continue as to whether the plane was in need of an emergency landing or some other type of mechanical failure had occured.
