1 Woman Killed, Another Injured After Crash on I-20 - Arlington, TX
On the night of January 8, 2021, a wrecked pickup truck was stalled in the fast lane on Interstate 20 between Kelly Elliot Road and Green Oaks Blvd in Arlington. Another vehicle stopped to check on the occupants of the pickup who were standing on the shoulder of I-20. A third vehicle attempted to avoid the wrecked pickup by swerving to the shoulder and hit the two women outside the pickup truck. One of the women, 43 years old, died at the scene. The other woman sustained severe injuries and was taken to a trauma center.
