Three-Vehicle Crash Kills Two - Johnson County, TX
On the afternoon of February 5, 2021, three pickup trucks were involved in an accident at the intersection of County Road 1224 and Park Road 21 in Johnson County. According to reports, a pickup slowed down to make a turn when it was rear ended by another pickup. The impact caused the first pickup to enter oncoming traffic and was then hit by a third pickup truck. The third pickup caught fire after spinning out of control. The driver of that third pickup sustain injuries and was taken to a hospital. The driver and passenger of the pickup that rear ended the first pickup did not sustain any injuries. The driver and one passenger of the pickup that was rear ended were taken to a hospital for injuries while two other passengers in that pickup died at the scene.
