16-Year-Old Causes Fatal Crash - Dallas, TX
On March 21, 2021, a 16-year-old driving a small vehicle struck the back left side of a pickup driven by a 50-year-old woman and occupied by four others, including an 11-year-old in Dallas on Interstate 20 by Hampton Road. The woman driving the pickup died at the scene. All of her passengers were taken to hospitals and stable. The 16-year-old fled the scene after his vehicle flipped into a grassy area but was arrested by police shortly after. He has been charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid as well as Accident Involving Death.
