Tornado Injures 8 in Multiple Accidents - Waxahachie, TX
On the night of May 3, 2021, severe storms brought tornados and damaged structures as well as flipped tractor trailers and semis. One tornado caused several injuries to drivers along I-35 near Waxahachie. Three drivers sustained injuries and were taken to a hospital after their tractor-trailers flipped over. Several other cars were thrown into a field next to the highway. Several cars and at least two 18-wheelers were involved in the accident as well.
