Teenager Attempting to Pass Vehicle Killed in Collision - Hill County
On the afternoon of May 19, 2021, a 16-year-old boy driving a pickup truck lost his life while attempting to pass a vehicle on State Highway 171 in HIll County near the town of Bynum. The teenager was traveling south on 171 as he attempting to pass a vehicle that was preparing to turn and was slowing down. The pickup truck struck an 18-wheeler head-on. The teenage boy was taken to a hosptial where he died.
