Semi Driver Killed in Fiery Crash With Two Semis - Santo, TX
On the evening of June 12, 2021, two 18-wheelers were traveling east along I-20 in Santo near FM 4 when they approached the area of an earlier crash scene caused traffic. The first semi slowed for the traffic but another semi approaching behind failed to slow and crashed into the back of the first truck. The second semi caught fire after crashing into the median. The driver of the second semi, a 59-year-old woman, died in the crash. A driver and passenger in the first semi sustained injuries and were taken to a hospital.
