High Speed Crash Kills 3, Injures 2 - Dallas, TX
On the night of July 31, 2021, two vehicles traveling at high speeds collided at the Westmoreland Road bridge on Mockingbird Lane in Dallas. The crash caused one of the vehicles to travel off off the bridge and into a warehouse. The other vehicle struck two light poles after losing control in the collision. Both vehicles caught fire after last impact. Three people inside the vehicle that struck the warehouse died at the scene. Two people in the vehicle that struck the poles sustained life-threatening injuries and were taken to a hospital. It is suspected that street racing was involved.
