[00:00:07.07] I would urge my clients or any clients [00:00:11.15] to interview your lawyer. [00:00:14.05] That means you ask him questions, [00:00:16.13] like if someone is looking for a personal injury lawyer, [00:00:19.15] I would ask him, how many times have you been to trial? [00:00:23.10] Because most of them haven't been to trial ever. [00:00:26.00] Not one single time. [00:00:28.16] If they say they have been to trial, [00:00:31.02] say, "What's your biggest verdict you've ever had?" [00:00:34.04] Our biggest verdict we have in House is 15 million. [00:00:38.04] If your lawyer, his biggest one is 250,000, [00:00:44.07] don't get him. [00:00:45.19] He doesn't have enough experience, enough good experience. [00:00:49.04] That's one question you ask. [00:00:50.15] Also, have you ever been punished by the State Bar of Texas? [00:00:55.10] In my 50 years, we have never been punished by the State Bar. [00:01:00.21] We do everything the right way, the ethical way, [00:01:03.11] so we follow all the rules, and all the recommended rules [00:01:08.08] comes back to us. [00:01:10.13] Because if we're cooperative, [00:01:13.05] and we're professional with the other lawyers, [00:01:15.22] they tend to reciprocate and do the same back to us.
